About Airport in Japan

There are three main Internationl airports in Japan for airlines from China, Korea and pacific area.
Refer to the following information to go to Tokyo from each airport.

From Airport to Tokyo

From Narita-Airport to Tokyo Station:

There are three choices to go to the downtown part of Tokyo.

  1. Take Narita Express (about 60 minutes, 3,140 yen) to Tokyo Station.
  2. Take Airport Limousine Bus (about 100 minutes, 3,000 yen) to Tokyo Station.
  3. Take Keisei Line Limited Express (about 70 minutes, 1,000 yen) to Nippori Station:
    Transfer at Nippori Station to Yamanote Line (about 15 minutes, 150 yen) to Tokyo Station.
    (Use Limited Express. Express train is not recommended since extra charge is required,
    but time is only 20 minutes shortening.)
From Kansai-Airport to Tokyo Station:

From Central Japan International Airport to Tokyo Station:

There are two choices to go to Tokyo Station.

  1. Take Meitetsu Line (about60 minutes, 850 yen) for Meitetsu Nagoya Station.
    Walk (about 5 minutes) to Nagoya Station.
    Take Tokaido Shinkansen Hikari (about 120 minutes, 10,070 yen) to Tokyo Station.
  2. Take JR Tokai Bus for Nagoya Station.
    Take Tokaido Shinkansen Hikari (about 120 minutes, 10,070 yen) to Tokyo Station.


From Tokyo Station to National Olympics Memorial Youth Center (NYC)

At Tokyo Station, take JR Chuo Line (Platform 1 & 2) to Shinjuku Station.
(It takes about 14 minutes and the fee is 190 yen.)
Transfer at Shinjuku Station to a local train on Odakyu Line
(It takes about 3 minutes and the fee is 120 yen) to Sangubashi Station.
The NYC is about 7 minutes walk from Sangubashi Station
