�@ VISA INFORMATION

Normally visa is not required for short stay usually within 90 days except CHINESE RESIDENCE.

Application of Japanese Visa for Chinese Participants

1. If you come to Japan as a member of group tour held by travel agency, the visa is not required.
   
2. If you come to Japan as an individual traveler, visa is required.
   Normally, the following three documents are required.
   An invitation letter, a guarantee and an identification card .
   
3. But you come to Japan for academic purpose invited Japanese professor,
   only invitation letter is required.
   
4. For Chinese participants, the main organizer will send an invitation letter
   to individual participant in which all the items are written to apply for Japanese Visa to
   Embassy or Consulate-General of Japan in China.
   
5. If you are required other documents to get visa, please ask to satomail.yamanashi.ac.jp.
