Dear Colleague, this is the second announcement of the ALGEBRA CONFERENCE, VENEZIA 2002 which will take place from June 3 to June 8, 2002 in Venezia, Italy. The Conference is organized by the research group COFIN 2000 "New perspectives on Ring Theory, Module Theory and Abelian Groups" supported by the Italian Ministero dell' Universita' e della Ricerca Scientifica. The activities of the Conference will be hosted in the historical buildings of the Venice International University (VIU), located in the magnificent Isola di San Servolo, a small island in the Laguna di Venezia, close to the centre of the city (Piazza San Marco etc.), which can be reached by public boats in a few minutes. The Conference will be devoted to the following topics: 1. Abelian Groups 2. Algebras and their Representations 3. Commutative Rings 4. Modules 5. Rings 6.
